We appreciate you for deliberating on a very pertinent point, issue based politics. Its very important for public to ensure that political leaders understand the importance of delivering on the promises made to win elections. Any attempt to deviate by raising emotive issues should be discouraged. On the contrary it’s being seen that in cacophony of whataboutery and religious/emotive issues, constructive agenda takes back seat and public mood is fanned by destructive, religious and non productive issues. It becomes imperative for common man to keep reminding the ruling dispensation about the developmental issues like economy, employment, education, healthcare etc and not to be swayed by other agenda.
At present when you look around there is a feeling of discomfort and unease amongst the citizens due to division into various castes, class, religions, regions and so forth. These problems have been worsened by institutional dysfunction in the legislature, administration, judiciary, and media. Furthermore, we have failed in our constitutional and moral duty as citizens by neglecting to raise adequate concerns about such ineptitude, despite the fact that such things impact all of us on a daily basis.
“ The People’s Voice society” feels that there is a strong need to find a way out of the present impasse and pave a path towards a progressive society. We have been propagating the same for more than seven years and working tirelessly towards making India a cohesive country. We firmly believe that media can play a pivotal role in spreading voter awareness. Being the Editor-in-Chief of such a leading print media, you can call for a voter awareness program. On that note, we request that you please use your medium to educate Indian voters on how to exercise their democratic rights correctly. We are always at your disposal for any assistance if and when required.
